How it works

The process looks like this

1. Contact me

Message me on instagram @lizj.studio if you are interested. Please let me know who referred you (I prioritise word of mouth referrals), what you want photographed and any of my previous photo styles that you like.

2. Confirm date, time and location

I’ll give you some dates available within the upcoming months, unless you have a specific date in mind. Timing may be confirmed closer to date as I rely on natural lighting (eg. time of sunset), thus this is essential to the style and quality of the photos. We can discuss location ideas over IG chat.

3. Shoot

We meet up and take photos for around 30 minutes - 1 hour. I may bring my hubby along as an assistant :) On average I take around 300 raw photos.

4. Editing and digital files preview

Editing actually takes more time than the photoshoot itself! After the shoot I usually edit some images right away as I can’t wait! I’ll narrow down and handpick the best shots, edit and send a few of them to you in our chat. These will be low resolution for digital use (not print quality).

5. Print resolution files

Let me know if there are specific images you would like in high resolution print quality, otherwise you’ll get all the ones I’ve selected for editing. This can be end up being anywhere between 20-40 final photos. The full editing process means the final images can take several weeks to be ready post photoshoot.
