About me

Hobby photographer.

Hi my name is Liz and I like to take photos. I’ve done photography on and off for the past 10 years. Now that I work full-time, this is just a creative outlet and one of my many side hobbies.

Currently I only book via referrals or word of mouth, as I am shooting at low cost for projects that creatively interest me and/or add diversity to my portfolio.

My style

Candid, vibrant, airy, natural.

Composition

My style is quite candid and lifestyle inspired. Most of the time I prefer you to ignore me and pretend the camera is not there! As a hobbyist, my arsenal of gear is small - I shoot only with primes (no zoom, limited focal length) as my style favors shallow depth of field (background and foreground blur).

Lighting & location

I prefer to use natural lighting and environments, such as shooting outdoors in nature or urban locations, but can also shoot indoor locations where natural or artificial lighting is sufficient.

Colour grading & post processing

I prefer to edit with contrast, detail, and either neutral or vibrant colour tones. Best to look at my photos to get an idea.
